In Uganda, the Bwindi impenetrable forest is the sanctuary for almost half the world's population of Mountain Gorilla's ( About 330 of 600 ), which is the rarest race of Gorilla. Established as a safe habitat for several families of mountain gorilla , it is now the location of an an important scientific conservation
programme. Gorilla Tracking visits are limited to small groups.

Day 1
Transfer from your point of arrival of arrival for overnight at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Day 2
Taking a picnic lunch you drive through scenic countryside to lake Bunyonyi. Overnight at Far Out Island Camp. B/L/D
Day 3
A short walk or a chance to fish or canoe on the lake before leaving to drive into the Mountains to 'Bwindi Forest'. Overnight at Buhoma Luxury Tented Camp. B/L/D
Day 4
A full day trekking for Gorilla taking a picnic lunch. Overnight at Buhoma Camp. B/L/D
Day 5
Drive Back to Entebbe with lunch en-route. Overnight at Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel. B/L/D
Day 6
Transfer to depart
- Mountain Gorillas are an endangered species, living in remote and ancient forest borders between Uganda and its western neighbours.
- Permits are strictly limited and advance planning & booking is strongly recommended
