Hemmingway’s is a 78-bed resort-hotel on the stunning sands of Watamu Bay, 20 miles south of Malindi. The ambience of the hotel is of relaxed sophistication, with the friendliness of a privately owned hotel coupled to the facilities and standards of an international resort.

All Hemingway’s rooms and suites are extremely comfortable, have ocean views, are within yards of the beach and benefit from 24 hour room service.
All have bathrooms with showers en-suite. There is air-conditioning and fans throughout, and rooms also have mosquito nets, personal safes and room fridges.
The standard rooms in the original wing of the hotel are close to the beach. They are shaded by palm trees and offer a choice of twin or double beds.
Deluxe rooms are located on ground floor of the new wing, offering the easiest of access to the hotel gardens and beach; they have a bath as well as a shower, three single beds and a terrace with table and chairs.
Junior Suites are available on all three floors. They have super king-sized beds, large baths, as well as showers and a lounge area.

During the calmer months (December to March), dinner is served on the terrace, with the sounds of the sea, the light of the moon and the stars, and the rustle of the trade winds in the palms for company.
